It's funny how you say UGA has an easier schedule when TN (mostly) & FL were ruling the division not too long ago. I also defend Alabama when Auburn & LSU gripe about being 2nd fiddle since none of their complaints came back when y'all kept losing to TN.
Let's compare sides:
1 - UGA/Alabama
2 - FL/LSU or Aub.
3 - TN/LSU or Aub.
4 - SC/TA&M
5/6/7 - KY or Vandy or Mizz./Miss. or MSU or Ark.
Seems how that's the way it's been playing out for a while now. So saying UGA has it easy is like saying Alabama has it easy.
To respond to the rest of your statement, WHO DOESN'T think that having a playoff of "the best" from the conferences means having the conf. champs? &, as I keep pointing out, you have 5 Power groups you choose from - WHY pick 4 slots? It should be ALL conf. champs & then however you want to fill the rest out. If I had my say, all 5 conf. champs would have a 1st round bye.....but don't know how to set up a playoff format with that requirement.

Some of us LOVE the cross-division rivalry game.....as well as our in-state out-of-conference rivarly game.
