This is stupid. Just b/c you were the sh*t in the 60's & 70's doesn't mean your program will be the best 30 years later. Your "program" has sucked for the past 15 years therefor it is not considered a top program. Now saban is trying to build it back up. Go clean your trailer you dumb arse gump!!!

Saban uses the same guys everywhere he goes. heh.

Hell... if I had a bunch of assistants I won with, I'd try to get them back with me too. Makes sense to use proven winners.

No one is saying that.

O'rly?, ya 'rly , onoz'rly, boom'rly

This needs repeating (from my earlier post)...

I find this argument incredibly stupid. Does LSU have a trophy case dedicated only to the last decade? Does LSU have a separate trophy case for the previous years of mediocre football prior to this last decade? Do they just tell recruits it's not relevant when they see how bare it is?

You see once you start on the slippery slope of saying only the last decade is relevant, you have absolutely no defense against ALL of history becoming relevant. There is absolutely NO good reason to exclude all of history as being relevant UNLESS the years prior to the last decade were mediocre. If you say the last 10 years are relevant, you are by default admitting that all of history is important because there is no way to separate or divide history up objectively or impartially. Either all of history is important or none of it is.

So what is the correct answer?

The answer is easy. All of history is important. Does this mean I'm better than you or that you should somehow feel insecure? No, absolutely not. I'm better than you for a variety of other reasons. But that's beside the point. When recruits come to Alabama they see all of the history, not just the last 10 years. And needless to say, it is impressive and THAT is the reason idiots like you only argue about the last decade, because when you look at the totality of history LSU falls way short of Bama in terms of tradition and hardware.

I'll admit that Draco had a point earlier. I was probably overstating LSU's mediocrity a little too harshly but the point still remains the same.

I guess if you want to win championships like LSU, you have to have coaching like LSU.

yeah sure.
You could count on 1 hand LSU's football championships....yet us bammer fans have to use both hands and a couple of toes.

Yeah, it's really important...except for when it comes to LSU's history; which started in 2001 accourding to Bammer nation. You can't have it both ways, gumptard.

Go look up LSU's all-time # of wins and winning percentage. I'll bet you it's a lot more than your uneducated kind would have thought.

I wouldn't laugh at this.
They're coming for that number 1 spot.
They might already be there.

You have got to be fricking kidding me. The ONLY people who bring up LSU's history since 2001 are LSU fans dipshit. My point went straight the frick over your head.

I admitted that. I was engaging in a touch of hyperbole.
