I'm I outside sales and was just offered a territory in Bham. I turned that shite down with a quickness.

And I live in Minnesota right now

Not that it's some god awful state. But it is absolutely boring.

I'm here for training and hoping to move back to Nashville. So I damn sure wasn't taking a territory in Alabama.

Good, good, let the butthurt flow.

could we have culture too?

Doubtful. We took Mardi Gras from you, remember?

You have to have something special about your state to create culture. And as you've already admitted, there is nothing special about Alabama.

Nashville.

That's a great town. Lived in Charlotte for 3 years, another great place.

I lived right outside of downtown and it was the best couple years of my life.

Heck yea it is. I went to Charlotte often for my last job and seriously considered moving there. But Ms. cas4t loves Nashville (as do I, clearly) so I think we'll set up shop there for the next 50 or so years

Can't go wrong either way. Charlotte, I think, is a much better representation of the 'New South' than Atlanta. Nashville is just South, in a good way.

So back to the original point. What makes LA so special?

Oh, definitely. And I'm not a big fan of Atlanta. It has it's perks, but the traffic alone makes me dread even passing through.

Nothing like sundresses, cowboy boots, country music, and booze. I'm sad too because CMA fest is happening a we speak

That's right, you said you were in Minnesota right now? Minneapolis? The most polite people in the world, like Canada.

I tried to explain it to you several times man. But it's like trying to explain an orgasm to a virgin.

You just don't get it and you probably never will. I feel sorry for you.

I'm about an hour south of the Twin Cities. The people here are great. People across the country literally refer to it as "Minnesota Nice."

I'm in Minny a couple of times a month though. I went to a T Wolves game a while back. It was pretty terrible

I'm going to a Twins game next week though which is apparently a great experience.

Yea, you really should just stick to all of your Magellan-like travels.

We all know how inspiring the drive from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa can be.

I was driving back to Louisiana from Nashville with an ex-Ms. DS about 7 years ago and she had been sleeping for awhile. In between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa she woke up, looked around and exclaimed "Where are we, Iraq?" I just kissed her and kept driving.

I know it's stereotypical but are you familiar with "The Stepford Wives'? It was eerie my first time up there. But after a few trips I got used to the Minnesota/Wisconsin mindset, and appreciated it. At least there if you break down on the side of the road, you're much more likely to get some help, as opposed to shot and robbed.
