Nice. Will be about the same size as the Shoe. Congrats, it's nice.

Here's a webcam for the stadium expansion... I check it out about once every other week to see how it's progressing.

maybe checkerboard type squares.

That would be neat. Flashback to the days of Legion Field.

Wonder where the Vols stole the idea from.

10/19/1961 - Alabama coach Bear Bryant is pictured at Legion Field in Birmingham in 1961. The Tide player is Billy Neighbors.

10/19/1963 - In a composite photograph, Alabama quarterback Joe Namath throws a touchdown pass to Charles Stephens against Tennessee on Oct. 19, 1963 at Legion Field in Birmingham. The Tide won 35-0. The Vols wore their "Halloween" uniforms.

Traditions

"The checkerboard end zones were the brainstorm of former Tennessee coach and athletic director Doug Dickey. When Dickey took over as coach in 1964, he had the end zones painted with the checkerboards."

TN traditions

Well, looky here. The Vol AD Dickey "invented" the checkerboard endzone in 1964. Legion Field was doing it in 1961.
