Saban would be 76 next season. When he retired, I did think he had 3-4 good seasons left...but that was 2 years ago...when his age was already being used against him in recruiting. He's smart enough to not want to damage his legacy. He went out as the SEC champion and is killing it with the ESPN gig.
LSU will hire Sumrall and then act like it was who they wanted all along. Good coach, but no needle moving homerun hire.

It will be a large contract. Bought out after another couple of years for $50+ million
