Gus Malzahn cracked the SEC shield by losing the year before and shattered it this year.

Everything Cam Newton, Tim Tebow, any SEC player player built by winning was shattered in less than 2 years. The "myth" that was SEC speed, strength, superior talent - gone. That affects all the in roads made nationally in recruiting, media events, etc. Auburn and Auburn fans aren't the winners here for "denying" Alabama - they're the bigger losers because they still believe Gus is bestest ever coach and will be stuck with him for a minimum of 3 more years.
