Iowa State is really really good on defense guys . I understand their offense is hit and miss and they caught us when we had a freshman playing his third game also. What has me worried is their defense ihas been shutting everything down to under 7 points a game.l lately. I believe our defense is playing a good as it has since 2008. Our yards per game allowed is currently in top 15-20 range and points Too 25. We looked lost and confused last game because they shut down the facilities for a week. We were not in any rythyn and fell out of top 10 in total offense . If Rattler.does try to go deep a few times we will have a hard time moving the ball vs them. Iowa State has a lot to top 25 wins. That’s why their ranking is so good and when they beat West Virginia by 40 that turned some heads because West Virginia is ranked number 6 in total defense.its 50-50 imo

What's a defense?

Ok they can play and deserve be to be highest ranked 2 loss team. But they are a 2 loss team when there are plenty of undefeateds and one losses to choose from. Let them go to a big bowl game but

"Georgia has lost to 2 top 10 teams. Iowa state got clocked by Louisiana Lafayette."

Some clock. You watch the game? 17 pt loss was misleading. ULL got 2 punt/kickoff return TDs, long pass TD on a busted coverage, and a garbage TD with 10 seconds left. ULL had less than 200 yards offense taking away the busted coverage. Yes, ULL took advantage of their opportunities and won. 1st game in a pandemic won't be pretty. I seem to recall Georgia not coming out firing either- losing 7-5 to Arkansas first half? A&M wasn't a picture of efficiency 1st game against Vandy.

Three score losses to Sunbelt teams are never "misleading".

2 punt/kickoff return TDs
Do you not have special teams?

long pass TD on a busted coverage
Do you not have competent DBs?

garbage TD with 10 seconds left
Do you not have a defense at all?

Why not take away all the plays? LSU beat Alabama if you take away all of their touchdowns.
