Ps the Calhoun block was legal but no doubt he tried to roll Hardy.

Hardy gave Duke the benefit of the doubt, but it was obviously pretty dirty. shite happens tho and sometimes players make poor decisions on the football field.

Good luck the rest of the season

We hardly showed up in that bowl vs USF.we were a BAD team last year. Our team speed has improved a lot since then. Ole Miss is for real. I have not seen a Memphis team with this many BCS quality athletes and the Rebs wore the Tigers down. The only potential weak spot was the OM DL. Mem had to replace 4 OL starters and the Tiger OL was at times during the game blowing the Rebs off the line but Coach Mallory is one of the best OL coaches in the biz. Memphis/Ole Miss is usually a war where we just run out of gas late and this year we completely imploded! Good luck Rebs! Ps the Calhoun block was legal but no doubt he tried to roll Hardy.

The DL isn't a problem in the slightest, its our biggest strength. Secondary is what we need to worry about.

I was very impressed with the Tiger D.
I'm from Memphis so I root for the Tigers when they aren't playing Ole Miss.

Memphis is probably better than Washington, although they have no one with Locker's talent individually.

We're only 1 week in the book, all we really know right now is Ole Miss played like shite on offense (for 3 quarters) and LSU played like shite on defense.

OM/LSU pissing contest is worthless right now, IMO.

I was watching our OL perform and they did a pretty good job I thought against your DL. No slight against your DL.You were a little beaten up coming out of fall camp at DL if I read right.SO 45-14 what room do I have to chest thump? Your secondary may be weak according to you but you were not tested by our down field passing game. The Tiger running backs did well and that is possible because of our front five and the job Mallory does.

Our secondary was fantastic in my opinion.
They did a much better job of covering than they did last year. Duke and Carlos are both good enough to be in the SEC. Arkelon kind of sucked, but I was really impressed with how well the Memphis D tackled. It was sad how few memphis fans were there. I look for yall to be better than you were last year.

The secondary was great against Memphis at the game, I'm just saying the secondary was my main concern coming into this season (besides injuries).

Word... Memphis has offensive talent and we did well to hold them to 14.

We maybe better but does it matter? This is the best Rebel team I have seen in my 37 years.During the Scherer years I went to the Grove with my wife's family but I did not wear a bow tie. I am kind of mixed about the series ending. Ole Miss and Coach Vaught was kind enough to play us all these years and you continiued to play us afterward.(Coach Murphy)Some Tiger fans know our place and history. Most Tiger fans are probabally too dumb to know that. If not for Coach Gotti canceling the basketball game, denigrating Ole Miss and hijacking the AD we might still be playing. Ole Miss deserves ditching us just for that alone. Haa We will always be Tiger High I'm afraid. Did we test you though? Was this game a good non-conference test for your team?

I'm going to miss the series, but it wasn't fair to let you have a shot at us in Football and not let us have a shot at you in basketball.

Hell yeah it was a good test.
I was afraid that we wouldn't get any practice with our OOC slate. Memphis brought us back to earth. They've given us a better game the past two years than half of our SEC opponents did last year.
Hopefully, we learned how to stop the draw from the shotgun, but we'll see.
I don't know if we'd be ready for SC without this wake up call.
