Before Pearl was let go, everyone thought/speculated that he was a Tennessee lock. That Memphis was a close second, followed by Missouri.
After Pearl was fired, everyone assumed he was headed to Memphis. Which I think he would have been, if Anderson hadn't left Missouri.
Just based off what I've read, and heard during the Stokes interview on the Gary Parrish show yesterday.
1a. Arkansas
1b. Memphis
2a. Tennessee (could very easily leap to the top, IF NCAA sanctions aren't too hard.) And they will be so it's a huge if.
I know no more than anyone else, just going by interweb chatter.
