I agree that we have serious QB issues. But another issue that is not talked about is the LSU’s prevent defense. We have had 5 games in the last 2 years that we were either ahead or tied at the end of the game and our “prevent” defense did just that, it prevented us from winning.

11/03/2012 Alabama

LSU ahead 41 – 37 with 4:14 remaining in the game. Georgia gets the ball on their own 20. They go 7 plays in 2 minutes and 32 seconds to score the game winning TD. Georgia wins 44 – 41.

10/19/2013 Ole Miss
The score tied 24 – 24 with 3:15 remaining in the game. Ole Miss gets the ball on their own 15. They go 15 plays in 3 minutes and 15 seconds to score the game winning field goal. Ole Miss wins 27 – 24

11/08/2014 Alabama
LSU ahead 13 – 10 with :50 seconds remaining in regulation. Bama gets the ball on their own 35 with no timeouts left. They go 10 plays in 50 seconds to score the game tying field goal. Bama goes on to win in OT, 20 – 13

I wanted to get everyone’s opinion on this issue. That's 5 loses in 2 years. LSU has lost 10 games in that time span. That's half our loses because LSU could not make a stop when needed.

If Les Miles goes to Michigan, where are we going to find a coach that wins 80% of his games and recruits in the top 10 every year? We should do whatever it takes to keep Miles.

I see he hasnt signed yet. LSU is atop his list. Is there a chance we snag this 4 star recruit????

All last year we endlessly heard from the BAMA nation who troll this board that Les Miles sucess is because of SABAN.

Now if BAMA has any victories this year, then everybody has to credit Mike Shula. Even the delusional BAMA fans will give credit where credit is due.
