How would you personally kill a Grizzly Bear with no gun?

Imagine being dropped off in the Alaskan wilderness and a Bear of that species decided to greet you one evening, unexpectedly.
I don't like guns, other than for hunting, so I would just have a .22.
That would do nothing.
If I knew that I was going to Alaska beforehand, then I would take a Samurai Katana that measured 3.5 feet from the hilt, to the blade.
Bear claws and teeth are very formidable, but one thrust through its stomach, and another straight into a foot, might make it rethink things.
What would you guys do in that situation?

Nice job for all three teams!
Spring Sports are boring in the SEC and take forever. (Baseball, especially).
Wrestling, Rowing and Lacrosse are where it's at. Olympic Sports are way more entertaining than Baseball (especially with the ping of Aluminum every other hit).

Where will you go for vacation this year?
For me:
-Panama City, as is tradition for 30 years running with my family.
Great food, great Shops, and hours upon hours on the Ocean.
-Six Flags Atlanta
Ride after ride is awesome, and it is buried in a forest within a City surrounded by waterfalls and flowers.
-Helen, GA
German Bread, Mutton, hand-made Candy and a 6-mile trip down the cool waters of the Chattahoochee...with a trolley to pick up your float and take you back up to the town, for $8 per person.

Who are the pickers when it comes to Fall and Winter/Spring Sports, and why do they think that they can magically rank every team in America beforehand in College Sports?

Some type of trophy, ring or banner has been there from us regularly since before the Civil War.
We have certainly contributed our part to the SEC.

Why are we playing baseball this early?
Not trying to cause an argument, but I have lived in two of those States, and it is still icy AF.
No one wants to hit some balls in 30 degree weather.
You didn't back in January.
Like I said, not trying to argue, but give some baseball teams outside of your comfort-zone some slack.
They love the Sport, too.

Pretty easy one, my baws.
Dropping out of the SEC Tournament early was a good strategy.
We had absolutely nothing to lose after clinching the regular season Title.
Fresh legs going in tomorrow night for Auburn after a quick 19 point win in the first round.

Baseball just went to Omaha, but we will see how it goes. (Too long of a season as far as sports go). No one really cares about that particular sport. It is equivalent to Volleyball on the Plains.
