Exactly! That's exactly what I thought. The dedication of students saving spots the morning before , and the thousands of them out there gives the school so great publicity. I understand we live in a world dominated by money, but I hope that this doesn't deter people from coming out.

I've heard from some certain people that this is going to happen very soon. School said they are losing money by students putting up tents, and there not being enough room for advertising. School said they lose 100,000 dollars a year because of this.

bullshite. Please explain how students putting up tents results in the school losing money. I'd also love to know how they quantified the cost. $100,000 is chump change for an SEC school.

I am all for this idea. We need to find new avenues to generate revenue for the athletic department.

Yea id love to see them explain this to students if they decide to do it. There is going to be an outrage, but change is inevitable.

Whereas I agree with this statement I don't think in the end that charging for Grove spots is the right course of action.

I do believe that it would end up killing the atmosphere we have come to know and love ... and when that's gone so goes the media drooling over our beloved darling known as pregamming in the Grove.

Bad decision is bad.

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the spots sold but those first ones on the walk before the split should be first come first serve. Also as I get older I realize the closer to the bathroom you are the better
