In all seriousness, I was afraid to show my face around here with all that's been happening. But thanks and yeah I wish this whole thing would die down. I like following OM and want y'all to make a big run for the West. There are also lots of good posters here and so it sucks to fight. Besides, it just doesn't seem right for UT and OM to be flaming and fighting each other - it just doesn't.

As to our TwitterVols... the problem, imo, is that our twitter crowd is huge (our twitter presence is a lot larger than most schools) and the more fans = more morons.

PS. Did the Richmond thread just get zapped? Looks like it's disappeared just when it was getting funny with the artwork.

I hear ya and agree that hiding behind a computer screen really enables idiots, especially when it's anonymous. They know the guy or gal nearest them isn't gonna punch or slap them silly for being an idiot and so they say things they'd never say in person.

With twitter in particular, I think the short format really lends itself to one liners (trash talk). That's to be expected from high school kids and even college kids to some degree, but I don't know what the hell the excuse is for grown arse adults. Hell I think it wouldn't be so bad if these were your occasional trolls (everyone has those days where you need a release and I could see the temptation of trolling twitter folks) but these dipwads are at it 24/7.

It's crazy for sure.
