A segment of drunken questions and uneducated statements.
Truth is, I don't know much about football, but I know I love it. So here are some questions and some thoughts. Please join this forum with your thoughts, reactions, opinions and humorous response gifs.
Take everything I say with a grain of salt.
1. Our defense is devastating unit of pain and misery for any opposing offense. That being said... how much of that is attributable to Womack, and if a lot of it is because of him, how high of a risk is it that someone poaches him away?
2. Our offense has incredible potential, the times it has clicked it has been wonderful to watch. There are a few things that come to mind when we think about the offense. A few of these issues have been raised before and I've seen them voiced on several media platforms.
A) Freeze's play calling sometimes confuses many of us. Is it time we get a true offensive coordinator to handle this aspect of the game? If so, who would you realistically want? Freeze is a great CEO of this team, it might be time for him to delegate this task to someone else while he handles the entire operation.
B) Our O-line play is improving, but many of us expected more. We see other teams with diamonds at the O-line playing really well. Is Coach Luke getting the job done? Do we need a new O-line coach? If so, who would you realistically want?
3. Am I the only one who has noticed a serious decline in the amount of landsharks being thrown up after big plays? I saw Conner throw one up yesterday, but that the only one I can remember (aside from Youngblooooood) I honestly think throwing up the landshark is a good marketing tool for recruiting.
I like reading other peoples opinions on all these sorts of topics. I would enjoy reading what you all think.
Also, we're going to beat bama. I can feel it in my plums.

These are some very good questions...
1. I think Wommack should get a fair amount of praise for the success our defense is having. The scheme fits us perfectly. But we also recruit players that fit into the defense. I think if he left we would be fine, but it would take a little bit to implement a new system and see similar results. I'm not sure there is too much of a risk that someone poaches him away. We are very adept at retaining our coaching staff.
2a. I think this is debatable. I love the style and type of offense he runs. But I can also see why some question whether he should get an OC. He's a great manager of the team and really seems to get the most out of his players. I think this point is debatable.
2b. I think our O-line is fine. We don't have a bunch of world-beaters, but Coach Luke is well liked my his players and really recruits well (Tunsil
). I think you see what he can do once he gets this next class of OL in and then you make a judgement call.
3. I've definitely noticed it as well and it was really good to see it get thrown up in the Memphis game again. I wish we saw it more but you can't really make a player do it. Maybe it just isn't being as emphasized as often among the team and the media. Seems like it was all we talked about at the beginning of last year. I think you'll see it make a comeback in this week's Bama game!

Thanks for the reply.
Is Luke that big of the recruiting pull recently though?
