Question about left field

I've only sat in right field but my parents are coming in town this weekend so were gonna go to left
Do I need to go set up chairs? What's the routine? We're planning on grilling and stuff...will we be able to get out there 39 mins before first pitch Friday and have a spot and a grill?

Probably not. I always sit in left field. It fills up really quickly. They usually open up the gate about 2 hours before first pitch. If you really want a spot to grill I suggest getting their during batting practice or something. Especially on a big weekend like this one.
I haven't been to any games this year so I can't say for certain that it's the same but that's my general assessment.

Yea left field is a different animal than right. Most of the grills are claimed by people who buy spots out there. I expect a ton of people in left so you probably want to be there before 5:30ish.
