And we're doing the same thing. Picking State posters who won't scrap and mix it up. Makes me feel like France or the Netherlands up in this piece.

I'm gonna make my second case for acceptance. Hopefully I'll raise my stock to at least be a 4th-5th round pick.
I'm married to a state grad, who hates Ole Miss (loves oxford though). Her entire family are state fans also, which makes for great entertainment during family gatherings.
I also live in the Golden Triangle area. Stromboli's and city bagel are hands down my favorite restaurants in starkville. I've tried to talk the owner of strombolis to open one in oxford at least a dozen times. Even told him I would move back and run it for him.
I absolutely despise Ricks and the Hunt club but love the cotton district. Its not the same as the square but I always have a good time. The Bin and those 2 bars across the road from the fountain are a lot of fun. I'm also a big beer fan, so I enjoy the Halfway house too. Although I never go because of the inside smoking, I have a friend that is the kitchen manager at cowbells.
So I have plenty of ties to starkville and I'm not normally a flame thrower. I think I would be a solid addition to the grindrant.
My only stipulation if I'm chosen, I would like a way to ignore coonass. I don't think that's too big of a request though, I feel like most state fans probably agree with that as well.

Oh its great. Most of her family members are pretty level headed when it comes to state/ole miss topics, but we get into it sometimes but its always in good fun. They're really nice people and season ticket holders for all sporting events. So we end up using them a good bit. I'll never turn down a chance to go to a live game, even if it is to watch state play. (Although I do hate those damn cowbells. They give me a headache)
As for my wife, she doesn't really care about sports but she will go watch anything and always roots against me. There are normally 'bets' that take place, which makes everything interesting
