UM - As a point of reference, I can hire one of the tent setup companies to set up a their tent, supply chairs, ice chest, beer and food in a prime spot in the grove for less than $500. I don't have to do anything but show up.
Not sure a parking space alone, regardless of location, can be worth more than that.

I agree with you, like I said, my husband has unrealistic expectations. I started the thread before I knew how much he was planning on asking (stupid on my part).

I have to be somewhere for the A&M game and a National Sales Meeting on the weekend of LSU. If we beat both A&M and Alabama, I'm really just going to have to skip it if I can. Granted the chances are almost zero, but I wouldn't want to miss the game of the decade.

It's not a half mile. It's within about 100 feet from the Grove, but that still doesn't change the fact that he is delusional.
