Who are we rooting for in the Bama LSU game?
Do we want an undefeated LSU coming in to Oxford . So we have a chance to crush their dreams.
Or is it more beneficial for one loss Bama and LSU .
So that theoretically Bama could lose to state or auburn
And LSU could lose to Texas am or someone
Assuming we were to lose the magnolia bowl?
What is the consensus here?

I'd rather LSU win simply because I don't want Bama to slide into the playoff without winning the division (not saying it would all work out that way)

I like that hopefully Bama beats them up and it's a long grueling game.

I think the PAC-12 is getting left out. If Notre Dame loses to Pitt today then beats Stanford, the winner of the SEC is in regardless of who wins it.

I am 1,000,000% with you on this. LSU has always been my second favorite SEC team due to friendships but the fans on tRant are killing that for me.

Because it knocks them out for good. And we would still have:
Win @ 10-2 Alabama
Win @ 9-3 State
Win v. 10-2 LSU
Win v. 10-2 FLorida.
State beating ALabama gets them a very high ranking going into the Egg Bowl, which I think helps us over Bama going 11-1. And this would ensure we finish the season strong with our last 3 games being wins over 3 ranked (and likely top 10) teams. That would look very good to the committee in my opinion

Well it looks like we lost another lineman. Morris tweeted his career is over due to the neck injury vs aTm. Hope he stays in school and he has a productive life now that football is over for him.

He was playing this year. Probably would have started or been first off the bench at the OT spot next year.

I just never saw him contributing after his previous injury. I didn't have much in the way of expectations for him and assumed we would need someone besides him to start.
