So back on topic...
Anyone go to the basketball game?
Hell of a game very entertaining and hard fought. Refs didnt ruin anything and actually called an even game, 3s and dunks galore, as well as some impressive zone defenses.
I'm sure Malik Newman at least felt like he could contribute to a solid team, most of which return next year. He was apparently sitting behind the ole miss bench.
Any football recruits get recognized or chanted for?

They should have taken the time to orchestrate chants for each potential member of the '15 and '16 classes during a single TV timeout of an extremely entertaining basketball game.
They should have chanted very loudly for Cowart so it could be heard from Florida.

Was at the game. Students tried to get a "We want Malik" and then a "We want Newman" chant going.
I could see Newman the whole game. He was so damn serious. But when it got to about 50 seconds left, he got up and seas enjoying the hell out of it.
Lodge was about 4 rows behind me with a ton of other recruits I didn't recgonize. Holland was with.

Good to hear. Malik trying to be impartial but when you find yourself pulling for a team.. As he did ole miss at the end... You have to feel connected so thats great.
Glad the student section is putting up an A effort.
