Honestly I have no idea what the kid looks like so I couldn't tell you... Maybe we flew him in on the jet. Took him home for his visit. And he's back in Oxford now #crootin

One good side note last night: JP wasn't drinking or partying. Hopefully he's just all about football unlike a couple Ole Miss quarterbacks I can think of.

Don't want this being twisted because I want Shea Patterson more than moncrief wants to be fed, but I think JP is the quarterback of the future for us

All great QB's are footballcentric: Luck, Rodgers, Wilson, Brees, Mannings, etc. I think JP and SP are both of that mental mold.
I'm not comparing them to those quarterbacks on the field, but off the field there's more similarities to those than there are for Johnny Football.

This is becoming more and more like Chris Jones Part Deux.
I don't remember where I saw it but one school did something cool in regards to recruiting last year. They announced that recruits were there at a basketball game and all the students went nuts and started chanting "come to school here (clap clap, clap clap clap)." The chant was deafening and the croots loved it. I hope the students do something of the sort today.

I remember shumpert (ms state rb) being at the bball game and thought they chanted his name?

Agreed if i was there we would be starting chants as well. Total ego boost. And it lets them know everyone already knows them and they are clearly wanted.
Since holland is new i would go for him and cece. Also would like jason pellerin and van and demarkus to get there name chanted as well.
