We didn't miss on Mitch parsons. I hung out with him all weekend for his visit (a buddy was his host) dude was here for sure but then we ended up only offering him a grey shirt...

Epps and Hibbler both want to play WR more than TE. While TE in our position requires that type of skill, both are currently too slim and unpolished in the aspect of blocking. Coupled with the loss of Christian Morgan and our TE cupboard is strikingly bare. Our actual WR's in Treadwell and Stringfellow are bigger than our TE's. This is why I am exited about Cooley. He can be a more athletic Hunter Henry in our offense. But, we still need help in 2015 which is why I think we need to add another TE.

Yeah, we chose a guy who went JUCO and will never play here (Arshad Jackson) over Parsons. I might be tempted to call that a miss related to mental error.

Parsons was smaller than any guys you mentioned. He wasn't going to be the blocking TE you guys are speaking of.

I think there were some guys we wanted that we didn't get. I don't consider them misses though. Most of them were longshots to begin with with little connection to Ole Miss anyway. Blazevich was the exception but I'm certain he had connections to the school he chose. Same with Gragg.

But at the time most people loved the decision to choose an "experienced" ready to play now quick fix than trying to get three 18 year old kids prepared for SEC play and learning the play book.... Hindsight and such

Would it be safe to say that the positions we hit on the most are RB, S and WR?

I'm not referring to guys that pan out as that's a coaching thing. I just mean the targets we set out for compared to the guys we bring in.

I think hugh learned his lesson in signing 3-4 running backs in the same class (kailo was technically signed a running back wasn't he)

How many open spots do we have? One for cece, lodge, van and how many more.. Also no one else has gotten processed. Are we waiting to see if we need to open up spaces or do we think that's done

It's a very fluid number. We are placing a few (Johnson is already there) and a couple more may open up from transfers.

Does anyone know what happened to Ronald Walker?

Speaking of misses, we missed hard on linebackers this year.

Roquan Smith, McMillon (in our own back yard), Kirkland Jr. (who really liked us to begin with after his decommitt), Josh Smith (who I don't think we will pull from vandy), and Durant

Some we can't get anymore, some we still might, but they seem highly improbable.
