We offered a 4* RB out of North Carolina Johnny Frasier. He rushed for over 3000 yards as a junior

Also Tenn. offered Harrell today. He's really blowing up

It may have changed but a few weeks before he committed to State, we were talking to him a lot and liked him but wanted him to get to 220lb by August and if it appeared he was on that path, then we would offer him. We wanted him to show a big weight gain because we thought he would develop into a DE. Not sure we liked him at OLB but maybe things have changed

Don't be surprised if Hibbler decommits and open up his recruitment. He wants to visit schools and will talk to our coaches about how he should handle that. Would be very surprised if he doesn't sign with OM but it might be a little Sammie Epps like.

That's fine with me (not that my opinion means a shite) but hell If it were me... I wouldn't commit anywhere unless I used all 5 of my visits at least.

I'd actually silent commit to state... Be kinda like RN was with us... Everyone already counts me as a commit... Never take a visit to Ole Miss....

NSD... Pick up the state hat like I'm about to put it on.... Drop it... Step on it... Scream Hotty toddy and put an ole miss hat on... Then frick bitches

I would commit to MSU, close my recruitment, tell Freeze I'm going to sign with them on NSD. When NSD comes, show up to my signing day party in all Ole Miss gear, sit down, sign the letter of intent and laugh at MSU scrounging to find a fallback player.

Im meh on him. I think our staff evaluated him correctly at DE and unless he puts on the size, Im not that worried about it. We just dont use that many LB's in our defense. Either you have to be excellent in open space (stinger) or a big run stopper (mike). He's very athletic and I think he fits state's trend of bringing in long thin LB's and then put weight on them.

Speaking of putting weight on kids, does anyone think there is something to the Balis roid stuff? I know it's purely speculation and old news but is there a reason that makes more sense? Roids are kept on the very down low ala Matt Hall, just wondering what State fan opinions are.

Also a very good point assuming we keep to 425 as our base D... I think he could add weight and become a solid Mike but that's just my opinion... Players like Byrd and Denzel were made for the Stinger position...

That's where I think Alvin Moore will excel at

As far as the roid stuff I have no clue...

Anybody else think we move towards a 4-3 defense this year? I always thought we only ran the 4-2-5 bc we didn't have the personnel

If our DB's can lock it down... Then I'd love to see some 4-3

If not 425 is where we should stay

I don't think it really matters because the players on the field are essentially the same. Either way we leaving one player off the field within the group of Alford, Prewitt, Connor, Bird, and Denzel. Unless Prewitt turns into a MLB, I don't think it really matters

Yeah but with 4-3 the difference comes with the rotational guys... Instead of seeing chief brown rotating in the secondary you'd see temario strong or Keith Lewis coming in at LB
