Everyone wants tackles so it's hard to go and get an elite one that isn't in our area (MS-TN) that we don't have ties to.

Yeah I understand just thought we would get some 5.7 tackles we are just sooo thin.

Eh, we wouldn't be if two freak things didn't happen.. Golson transfers, Morris tears his Achilles. Both happened months ago. We are in good shape with 3 tackles in Womack, Richmond and Rankin. You add just two of those and we have Tunsil, Cooper, Morris, Conyers, Johnson, two new tackles, and Buys in 2015. That's not thin. In 2016, we land a couple more, which shouldn't be a problem with how that class is shaping up and we are still in excellent shape. Land Drew and our OL is set up for years and years. We are thin right now because of two unexpected events, not because of recruiting.

Agree with everything except Morris..

First off, he tore his Achilles tendon

Secondly, it is not clear that he would have got a waiver to play.

Finally, the kid is a Fr. who would have RSed at UCLA, instead he doesn't even enroll and sits out of football. I'm assuming not working out with UCLA. He would have had a spring here, but I doubt he would have seen time.....with one exception..

Golson being an a-hole...

Frick Golson

Christian has been cleared and went through summer workouts and fall camp, just never went to a class and dropped to zero hours so he was technically not a student. That's why he was cleared to play this year. He also lost 35lbs over the summer to show you how much work he got in. No he wouldn't be ready to start in sec but he would be competing with Conyers for the 4th tackle spot which is more than good enough. Golson or Cooper would be the swing backup tackle and whoever won out between Conyers or Morris would be there for mop up duty or injury. That's sec depth

So, what would we be looking at next year if Patterson signs with us?

Tunsil
Taylor
Still
Bouldin/Patterson
Cooper/Morris

This may be way off. OLine is my weak point in football.

Christian Morris has been cleared by the NCAA to play immediately? When did this happen?

Aaron Morris will probably still be here in 2015.

Tunsil, A. Morris, Still, Taylor, Cooper
C. Morris, Bouldin, Frigo, Bell, Richmond/Rankin

Yes they should. I'm going on what Christian has said along with rebelgrove and private board. Yancy has also said he's cleared.

Is Morris going to be out all of this season? Or is he getting a med-red for last season?

His clock didn't start until this January. We will just RS him because he isn't going to sit out a year, medical the next and then RS the next then play 4 years.

That confuses me. Are you saying he's gonna be here for 7 years?

You think we land Matt Womack?

I'm saying he won't be, thus there is no point to get a medical RS. If he MRS, RS, and stayed for four years he would leave college after the 2019 season when he ended HS in 2012 season.
2013-sat out
2014- MRS
2015- RS
2016-2019 play.

Yes Aaron Morris got the MRS so if he wishes he can be here in 2015. Same with CJ. They both will start this year as technical seniors with the ability to come back in 2015

Ok. Thanks. I knew CJ got it. I guess I missed Aaron getting one. That's real good.
