I wouldn't be shocked if Javon Patterson gave OM some good news tomorrow.

Reading the article Sorantable linked it seems like his heart is saying "I really love that antebellum fixer upper that is in the first stages of renovation" but his head is saying "That new 10k square foot custom built home really makes more sense."

Doss was a step ahead of the other quarterbacks for Team Alabama. He spun the ball exceptionally well and showed very good accuracy on most of the throws in the passing tree. His ball placement was superb and he displayed a live arm. He got better as the day went on in windy and balmy conditions. - See more at: LINK

Rated 7th most impressive player today on Bama's team by rivals

"It's a business," Hampton said. "Those guys, they'll understand. There are other guys out there that can play safety also. I'm pretty sure they're not just recruiting me. I just have to handle it the right way, be respectful with it. My family is going to back me up with everything, but I'm going to handle everything myself mainly."

How can anyone think he is sticking after that? I honestly believed it until I read that

Pettway, Reed, CJ, and Bo are all rebels if Saban leaves.

I'm an optimist. I thought of him referring to Bama as a business, not us.

While I see your point, you could definitely look at it as him saying I have a better shot of playing at Ole Miss. BAMA has other safeties there that can play and I'm sure Bama isn't only recruiting me.

I say just let it play out. If we lose him we just lost a commit to the best coach in all of college football. We took 5 or 6 last year. You cant win them all.

Unless Bama hires Freeze which would end this "journey" and we would be left in the "wilderness" holding our dicks. Like those guys at A State.
