And to think of all the rumors surrounding him going to Bama the week before he signed with OM.

Perhaps. Like I said, I never trust a MS kid to come to Bama until he is on campus. I'm cautiously optimistic about Hampton. The good thing is we will know one way or the other in a few weeks.

Hugh Freeze is the man. He freaking gets it!!! Every Ole Miss fan realizes we need some guys for the OL that can come in a play NEXT YEAR. Now lets get Are and Sims and I'm happy.

I'm just trying to figure out if he is a EE. We could use him here in Jan.

He actually graduated from the same area that I attended high school at for 2 years before moving down here. I'll see if I can dig up any info on him.

Edit: Dores, you were correct. He will be enrolling in January. Great news! Welcome Fahn!

I hadn't heard of this guys name at ALL. He does have quite a few offers. He was only a two star coming out of HS. He admitted that he didn't really work hard coming out of HS. Didn't really see his own potential. He stated he had over 20 offers.

Any D1 level OL, I'm extremely happy to get.

It's really comforting to see Freeze actually has legitimate backup plans.

Looks like Hampton made up his mind to be an EE. I know he said he wasn't sure a month ago.

Word around the campfire is that he committed to Saban during his in-home and Pettway committed to Saban same day as Reed.

Of course, you know the word around the campfire is always reliable

Forgot to include this in my nuggets synopsis, but Bo Scarbrough was not listed among the potential grade casualties. Earlier this year it was a concern whether or not he will even qualify. Looks like he will be playing D1 ball somewhere.
