Love the OL get, but did we need another RB?

I say yes. This kid is a Swiss army knife RB. He can catch and evade as well. Our run game was weak last year and I think we needed to run more. It helps keep defense fresher too. And keeps other O off field more. Of course we have to improve Oline but I think we have. This is a huge get imo based on style we want to operate. Need several good RBs plus change of pace ones.

I'm not saying he isn't a good get, but I figured between Tatum, Blaylock, Robinson, Andy Bass and Sawchuck we'd have enough to work with and could've lured a top TE or OL with the money we spent on this guy.

I think we can do it all. Everything changed when Nagy showed up. Top women's recruit. Trae AGM of mens and got top portals. Now we get 2 huge players and word is we’re just getting started. TE is being addressed.
Ott is a unique talent that doesn’t come along often. If you can get him you do it. If another RB leaves then so be it but we’re better in the RB but as important he can act as a WR which gives us help in an area of weakness last year.
I think Nagy woke some insiders up on what we need to compete. Boosters too. And he has tons of connections which many are NFL. This is important to players as well because he can be honest with them but also can help them get there. He can get NFL type assessments to pass along to players. He was a great addition to staff.
Those existing RBs are good but we had injuries there too. Ott gives us more O weapons which we sorely lacked.

One more note, we’re getting a very experienced/seasoned RB.
Another note. We’re going to lose some to the portal so hang on to your seats. In the end we’ll be better.

Visitor. Would be great depth!

Southeast Missouri State defensive line transfer Jaylon Stone will visit Oklahoma, his agents tell @chris_hummer and me.
Stone, who already had visits locked in with Kentucky and Illinois, had the third-best run defense grade among FCS interior defenders last year, per PFF.

He posted this the other day. GM likely thought pay was higher than production? Or he got tampered with
