Well, we had to know this was coming after that pathetic performance in Cotton Bowl

The change I didn’t know we’d need
Parker Thune
@ParkerThune
In advance of a pivotal tilt against South Carolina, I’m told the #Sooners are making a change at kicker.
They’ll turn to Zach Schmit, who hit both of his FG attempts against Auburn while Tyler Keltner was sidelined due to an appendectomy. Keltner had started the year 7-for-9.

Interesting twist. Joe Jon Finley will be in the coaches booth today alongside Seth Littrell.

Oklahoma’s OL had a pass-blocking efficiency of 77.7%, which was tied for 7th-worst rate among FBS teams and 5th worst among P4 teams in Week 8.
Somewhat surprisingly, South Carolina’s OL had an even lower rate (74.3), which was the 4th worst in the country, per PFF

We are wasting our defense with the worst offense OU has likely ever had

Well, our OC came out with a pass centric game plan with a true freshman and crappy oline with top 5 or so wrs out. It was like he tried to set us up for turnovers
