This year does kinda in a way… feel eerily similar to the 2k season in a few areas

A. It was out of the blue. 21st ranking. 17th ranking. Pre season respectively

B. You’re waiting for it to end. That’s a nice win. But no way they can win in Tuscaloosa. Kinda like yea beating Texas was nice, but Manhattan vs #3 KSU a different deal

C. Each have *those plays. That you talk about. That people will talk about forever w OU football. RMT scoop & score. Sack on Arnold to end it vs Auburn. Sandell nukes. Torrence Marshall pick 6 vs A&M, Rocky blackening the eyes of Texas

D. Defense dominates late. That 2000 season as well, offense got off to a hot start. Bursa sack injuries we all became experts on as Josh Heupel and OU slowed, but defense stiffened and got more suffocating as season went

C. Jobs not finished. Heard that a lot that year too

Not saying anything remotely close to that is gonna happen, but it’s fun to be back on a ride again
