The Sooners Defense will face their biggest test of the season tomorrow in facing Darian Mensah. The redshirt Fr from Cali is the #5 QB in the nation in yds per attempt with a gaudy 13.3 ypa & has connected on 70.7% of his passes. He has completed 81.8% of his 3rd down attempts.

Venables spent 2 years with Jeff Lebby as his offensive coordinator. Josh Heupel runs a similar Briles offense. Joe Jon Finley is well-versed in the offense spending time coaching with Heupel. Lebby didn’t have the QB Heupel has but that is interesting heading into this matchup.
