OU was up 6-5 headed to B6. Got some stuff to figure out. But its all learning curve early season.
Coach Rocha (health issues) called all the pitches in prior years. You have a brand new coach and a staff that has to get used to said coach with little prep time. Pitching might be iffy for a while.
UCLA, OSU, FSU, Auburn all had very good Clearwater results and “won February” last year playing solid competition.

OU down 1-4.
We get runners on and can only get 1 home.
Deal walks their bases and they get 4.
Pitching could be a problem this year.

3-4 now. Deal pitched 1 inning gave up the 4 runs. She walked 4 batters and they cleaned bases so gets the runs. Lowry pitching since. Deal is a senior so she will not improve and walks too many batters.
Once again we’ll have to over rely on one ace pitcher which will catch up later in season. Such a shame because we have a title ready team other than pitching. Can still win but I’m looking at bigger picture

OU wins! Had to comeback but we allowed all 4 runs in 2nd from walks by Deal.
