15 of our 28 shots are 3’s. Disgusting. Need to try and pound it in the paint and get physical as SEC is that way

The problem we have is our AD is retiring. If season goes as bad as it looks tonight will he fire while heading out door or pass buck to new AD?
Thats the problem changing ADs over a year, we are likely not going to fire because if current AD hires that ties hands of new AD saddled with his hire. And you can’t fire and leave it open until new AD is in position.

We won. But it took til 2nd half to break away vs a really bad team. I see us finishing bottom 4 in SEC

Show signs of life but unable to finish. Only played 8 players is fatigue why Moser can’t finish? System or lack of?
Last year looked so good then conf play.
This year looks rough before conf play.

I'm not sure what it will take to get the basketball team back on the rails. Guess they had more NIL money this year with Trey Young giving money.

He got some good portals. But it may be too late he shoulda done that 2 years ago. I think he is on thin ice. He not only needs to make playoffs he needs to win a few games. Young did throw money in and there will be no excuses. I just don’t know he can coach. Teams always seem pretty stale without a bona fide offensive system.

If this one player can take on 5 opposing offensive players great. Our defense sucks and I doubt 1 player can fix. Porter needs to get his stuff together.

KFord BB rankings per conf. If this holds Porter is as good as gone. Problem is we’ll have a new AD sometime in spring or early summer right when final results show up will he fire a coach so early in new job as AD?

Wow, Porter is really in trouble. I like him but he’s not worthy if this job imo. Too many clunkers. Look what OU women's BB program has done in same time and it was in worse shape when taken over

Congrats, we turned them from an 0-6 team to an 0-7 team. I wonder how many conf blowouts we’ll have to endure starting in Jan.
Sorry I’m so down on this team but if you have a “system” then you can change rosters and maintain some stability. Without a system then you rely on more one on one playmaking and good teams can shut you down and expose you.

OU down 35-24 with 5 min left in half. This season is not looking good. Will Porter even make it to Conf play? With a lame duck AD how does that factor in to any potential changes? Does AD defer to new AD next spring? Of does he make move prior and insert interim and then lets new AD make the hire?

We clawed back and down 37-33 at half. Only 4 Sooners have scored what happened to all the high scoring portals we brought in? Is it coaching/system?
