Man this is nuts. Trying to not get depressed about it. 3 games into the season, 2/3rds of our key players are out for an extended time, or for the season. fricking crazy. Doesn't seem real.
I don’t know any team in history to have 3 starters knocked out in the same week like this. Just insane.
Gonna watch the season like its a tankathon but with SGA trying even knowing its not and new tank rules hurt bottom teams.
SGA needs to just go off and set records. If we can somehow make playoffs we’ll be the best 8 seed lol. But its gonna be a struggle to even do that. Sucks

What the frick? Is it money related (owners) or maybe a better player out there for same money? Its possible owners see a lost cause this year and want to save the money?

They will pick up the options for McCain and Sorber

OKC will save $60 million with its decision to decline the option on Nikola Topic.
This should be viewed as a continuation of the cost-saving moves OKC made this summer. It’s another step towards retaining the core of the team.
It also isn’t a reflection of OKC’s belief in Topic as a prospect. The Thunder simply has to prioritize retaining those who’ve shown what they can do on the floor, and Topic unfortunately hasn’t been able to do so due to unforeseen setbacks

Stirtz looking good. Team seems to have found their footing and energy again. Those injuries took a lot out of them.
