I would never want to bring Russ back with our core team due to them having their own chemistry and locker room.
But given the situation this is all hands on deck. We are limited on money and it sounds like we won’t use the injury exemption since JDub/Cason “might” be back.
Russ can rebound like no other. And last night we needed that. Russ never quits. He is not good at 3’s so if you can convince him to only take 2’s then he could help.
Another point. We’ve been spoiled. Also cursed. Russ hurt in playoffs cost us a title. KD choking cost us a title. Injuries last year playoffs cost us a title.
We can’t waste these golden SGA years. Imagine him looking around the court last night with those 2 dickweed's Barnhizer and Dix and some others - and knowing Sam has all kinds of picks on hand. That rainy day is now. Better get some competent players around SGA else he could start to get wandering eyes. He looked frustrated at our bench players
Having said that, we have until trade deadline so Presti will time it. But he can’t trot out those 2 again. They suck and need sent to G League. Or just cut. They were embarrassing for the team.
And where the frick is Sorber and Topic? Cut their arse if they can’t fricking play even one gawd damn game
