Still can’t believe we got him from Philly

Jared McCain vs San Antonio Spurs:

20PTS I 3REB I 2AST I 1STL
7-9FG I 6-8 3PT +20

He did most of his damage from 3 but it's the variation of triples he took:

· Transition 3
· Mid-range stop jumper
· Screen Curl off Mara 3
· Transition 3
· Catch & Shoot 3
· Catch and Shoot 3
· Screen Curl off IHart

SGA uses rules to the letter. And some continue to go with narratives.

Lol this is awesome. We set an NBA record for having the most players with same last name given a tech on the same play sequence. I was glad to see all of them support Chet who got body slammed hard by a dirty team the NBA is treating as their darling.

People forget, we almost made finals without JDub and Mitchell. It makes such a huge difference

I’m amazed at the “casuals” who don’t realize how big of an impact having a healthy J-Dub and Ajay is for them against the Spurs.

They both looked a tad rusty but just them being on the floor completely changes the defensive strategy against the Spurs.

Just on these two possessions alone, having J-Dub or Ajay playing one pass away forces the defense to make a choice.

If they actually commit to doubling SGA at the elbow like the did in the playoffs, you force the ball to the strong side where now have an immediate 3v2 consisting of J-Dub/McCain/Mitchell.

The gravity of those two makes it so much easier on SGA.

For real, that dude got away with more dirty shenanigans than anyone I've seen in a long time. Maybe since Chris Paul in his early days. If they're going to prop that guy up, the rest of the league needs to go hard on him, all the time. If you're going to foul him, foul the shite out of him.

They were two starters, out for the series. Someone else was hurt in that series - can't remember who, but that hurt us as well.

JWill also tweaked a hammy strain.

JDub came back late season and rehurt his injury.

Wow love this rookie! Called out Doncic on his constant whining.
