Lost to Boston on last game of 5 game road trip. Snaps 12 game win streak

When Caruso is your 2nd leading shot taker thats a loss every time. He took 11 shots went 1-8 from 3. Ballgame

SGA was 10-12 from field for 33 pts

That was a tough spot for the Thunder, and a geared-up game for the Celtics.

I have a feeling home court will come down to the last regular season game. Spurs remaining schedule is cupcakes except Denver, whose played the Spurs fairly well this year:

@Milwaukee
Chicago
@Golden State
@LAC
@Denver
Philly
Portland
Dallas
Denver

We can only lose one more game to keep home court. I think its too many players and coach has to figure out how to use best.

Boston is 3 heavy team and they beat you with the odds. Caruso cannot take 12 shots. SGA needs to take more. Give SGA 7 of Caruso’s 11 and we win. Not that simple but we are not a good 3 pt shooting team.

This will be a hard year to repeat and NBA rarely has repeat title winners. Its not end of world to lose home court but it changes who we play in each round. Too early to know the teams. I think we’ll have something for SAS if we get them in West CC. Have to get their first.

Another note playoffs are different as you can gameplan. In season games have way less planning

3 pt percent since all star break

We have our worst shooters taking most tries. Looking at you Caruso and Dort. Coach has to see this and find a fix. I cringe when either put one up.

Thunder played with food for 2.5 qtrs, were down 80-88.

Then went on a 34-6 run and won easily. SGA uncharacteristic 0-10 from 3, but had 25 points.

Next game Knicks at OKC Sun 6:30. Big game

This will be the first time the SGA-Dort-Dub-Holmgren-Hartenstein starting lineup will play at OKC since their Dec. 28 win over the Sixers

In the 2nd half

SGA had 31 points on 73% shooting

The rest of the Thunder had 30 on 36% shooting

Most Valuable Player. Ended with 47 pts

Thunder PR:

The Thunder claimed their 60th win of the season after securing a 10th consecutive home win. OKC is the only team in the NBA to record multiple 10-game home win streaks this season.

What an epic OT game. We pissed away lead and Caruso pissed his pants on a late 3 in reg. But he hit a big one in OT.

And SGA another dagger 3 to end reg and they called him for offensive foul. Same move as Jordans famous 3. Can’t call that there.

Highest TS% relative to league average among 30+ PPG seasons in the last 35 years…

SGA is on a special run

Nick Crain
@CrainNBA

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has not missed a field goal in the fourth quarter or overtime of his last two games. He’s been the driving force in two clutch wins over the past 48ish hours.

31 points in 18:30 of game action on 100% FG.

Shai's 6.5 clutch PPG this season are the most in recorded history (min. 5 clutch games).

He's done that with a 66.8% clutch TS while leading OKC to a 20-7 clutch record.

He also has just 7 clutch TOVs vs. 175 clutch points.

Might be the GOAT clutch regular season.

This notion SGA doesn’t earn his trips to the FT being the player with the most drives to the basket in the NBA is just lazy. But what you expect from an @RandyScottESPN type.

Credit @pat4_c with stats:

Games with 20+ FTA’s:
Shaq: 36
Giannis: 24
Harden: 23
Kobe: 21
D Wade: 17
MJ: 16
Embiid: 15
Lebron: 15
Pierce: 12

SGA: 4 (in EIGHT seasons)

LOL! Presti built this team from ground up and is gonna leave for Dallas. In your dreams Dallas.

The source is full of shite. Its a dream list not a reality one.

“I’m told that Patrick Dumont, the team’s governor, is aiming high. Among the names on Dumont’s wish list, per league sources: Oklahoma City executive vice president and general manager Sam Presti, Minnesota president of basketball operations Tim Connelly and Boston president Brad Stevens. Cleveland top exec Koby Altman’s name is also in the mix, a source said.”
