Witten has been the head coach at Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas. He reportedly turned down coaching offers from NFL and college teams to coach his sons at the high school level.
Witten has led Liberty Christian School to back-to-back state championships since taking over in 2021. His best player is his son, Cooper Witten, who is a five-star linebacker in the 2027 class and has an offer from the Sooners on the table, which is just another benefit OU fans see to having Witten on staff.
