Something dawned on me. Our D players are motivated to keep anyone out of EZ but likely and especially JA.
Our next game is Kent State so any 2nd half ejections mean they sit out first half of KS. We could have 5 and it won’t hurt us next game. Meaning I expect as a subplot our D will be aggressive and hit hard.
Be aware, some limpdick Allbarn poster stole this and posted on their team board and general board. I thought it was off limits but regardless, Allbarn stole some fake titles that no one will ever recognize so it makes sense.
And talk about context. They fail to realize we had a player suspended 1st half this weekend from soft hit. Most teams might go overboard the next game to precent a targeting rule and that hurts your D. Because of who we play I expect no changes to our hitting and if anyone gets another bogus flag it won’t hurt.
But limpdick wouldn’t know the context because he’s too chickenshit to come and post here. No one has ever been denied access to this board unlike other softer team boards.
Just be aware what you post here will be stolen and used by pussies not man enough to come and talk here.

I don't do it but there's no rule against it. All boards are visible but most don't care what is said on a team board. Notice that the "limpdick" had no responses.
That said, implying that targeting this week is okay because you only play Kent next sure doesn't give a good look.
Good luck this weekend. I'm looking forward to it.

Of course there’s no rule against it, but an unwritten rule is something same tards can’t understand. I’ve never gone to other team boards, thats their home base so to speak. Can trash talk on main SR if needed.
And nowhere did I call for us to hurt or injure him. This has to do with our suspended player from a soft hit last week. If the refs start calling BS like last game who cares. Our players will hit just as hard as last week because our next game is soft.
There is no need to “soften up” our hitting to appease some rogue ref/s. But since that idiot Allbarn poster has no idea what I was referring to he opened his weiner warmer and spouted BS.
Oh, and welcome.

When I was undergrad circa 1980, the City of Norman always started its street projects the week the students returned.
Never did they do so during the summer when traffic was light.

That was me. You talk about context but the context doesn’t matter at all when you are implying/advocating for illegal hits on JA because you can afford to loss some guys for next week.
I’ve never posted on another teams board because the rant exists. Sometimes I’ll peruse another teams board during game week to see if there is any information out there (depth charts, injury updates, advanced stats, so on). When I came across your post I was a little surprised that you posted it. I’ve seen some of your posts before and thought you a good poster albeit a Homer. Why didn’t you reply to my post? Instead you ran back to your board and complained. Oh well. This is my first ever post on another teams board and my last.

Hope the game is a good one this weekend. I have OU pulling it out 27-20.

You have no idea my context and made an assumption. I saw your post on rant and wanted to know who you were. So I clicked on your name and saw you posted my post on your team board. It shows the board the post was made at.
Thought that was chickenshit so wanted to alert OU posters about you and to know their posts would be lifted and posted on team boards. I’ve never posted on other team boards. Figured you could have come here and questioned me but instead you wanted to score brownie points on your own board.
I’ve explained the context, we will hit just as hard regardless of bogus ref flags. Most teams soften up after a targeting hit but we won’t. They won’t be dirty just like that one wasn’t dirty. JA runs a lot so he should expect hard hits. If a rogue ref flags that our next game is soft so won’t impact or change it. Its football which has been pussified by ambiguous rules that even refs don’t understand.
Next time just come and ask what the poster meant instead of the BS you pulled to score some brownie points. My post was made here not on rant or your board. You only manned up because I called you out.
By the way, JA was right to leave he was not given a fair shake due to many reasons. I was his biggest fan and you can likely find my posts before last season saying so.
We gave him a shitty OC and no QB coach. That OC could have called way better plays at start of games to get him in the groove and gain confidence. Yet Seth called long developing plays and he got hit a lot and turned ball over. Then all our O starters started falling and I’ve never seen that many on one side of ball ever in any program. JA lost confidence and got pulled.
Jackson won the Bama game and I thank him for that. But leaving was his best option because even with a new OC here this year had he stayed the fanbase would have turned on him once he made any mistakes, reflashing to last year. He has so many untimely turnovers that cost us games and it would not have worked out.
His dad was even surprised at him leaving and told him to think about it first. But leaving was best for both him and OU. I used to post his senior year HS clips from games, his 5*+ was valid at that time. He could sling the ball. But he just couldn’t adjust ti college speed and I blame our OC for most of it. By end of year he was just mentally destroyed.
Other than our game I wish him well. He never badmouthed OU or fans and was in an unwinnable situation. Good kid who got put in a bad situation. Fans here have no ill will towards him. But regardless reasons I’m not sure he can get past it. He started our bowl game end of 23 season and threw 2 picks and a fumble. Then of course he started good last year in OOC games but fell apart once SEC started. Coinciding with injuries mounting but still had playmakers to start conf play.
Anyways, after our game I hope he wins a lot he has been through some stuff.
Another side story is after 23 season. Had Gabriel stayed JA leaves. I have so much respect for Gabriel because he did not want to create a QB controversy and he left on his own out of respect for Jackson Arnold and the team. Even though Jackson never asked him to nor did the team, Gabriel left to avoid conflict. And he was good friends with Jackson.
So JA was a great teammate and always upheld high standards of conduct. He just didn’t work out. I recall when Lebby flew the copter to one of his senior high school games in Denton, Tx. Thought JA would go hook back up with him so was surprised when he went to Auburn. Probably wanted a clean slate.
Most OU have good things to say about his character and bad things to say about his play in key moments. Thats college football in NIL era. Used to be off limits to say anything about players before they got paid. Now its open season with money in play. But JA was a high character guy. And we’re going to hit him hard and often.

This will be an interesting game. Our run D is good and Jackson can get rattled when forced to throw. I expect them to use the short passing game a lot.

Just noticed something - I love maps so this is a quirk of mine - just noticed that, looking at a map of OUr campus, Owen Field is on the:
South
East
Corner
of campus.
At least, if one temporarily, selectively, ignores the South Base area.
Ok, SEC skeptics, unload those howitzers on me ...
