I support abortion as a conservative because the vast majority of people getting abortions are people with different socioeconomic status and political views than me. I look at it that 55 million more democrats would be alive today to vote if abortion were illegal. It's eugenics I'd vote against every time, but I'm not dissatisfied with the outcome.
I believe we are not alone in the universe, but if we'd been visited already, there wouldn't be a human race left. We're in an arms race against species we know nothing about, and on a timetable we can only guess at. Global warming is not the greatest threat to humanity, the closest alien race is, and we need to pour everything we can into militarizing space, and developing better/faster space travel.
People are going to be smart or dumb based off of genetics, and no amount of private schooling or ghetto public school is going to change that. If you are dumb, your child likely is too.
