Stairway……I can’t finish the title

Freebird

Sweet Home Alabama, although I enjoy this one at games and such

Anything by Kid Rock.

I like the dude, like his music. But enough is enough.

Concrete Angel makes me sad.

Barbwire Halo, we played it at my grandpas funeral.

This is a good topic.

I’ve told my lady a couple of times recently that there’s some band I can’t recall which used to be as high as my third or fourth tier that I simply can no longer stand, at all.

Weezer is NOT that band, though I don’t much like anything anymore by them outside of “Buddy Holly” and “Surf Wax America.” Full disclaimer: I was never a big fan beyond their debut, but I’m now positively averse to stuff after that.

I need to spend some time listening to Sirius or browsing my vintage 2007 iPod to figure out what band I’ve gone off. Will report back when I do.

Finally, BEWARE deciding that you will enjoy a song tongue in cheek. I did this with “The Safety Dance” and now I genuinely like the damn thing.

I’m playing with fire and my lady is warning me about “I’m Too Sexy.”

I get that Stairway and Freebird have been overplayed, but all three are great songs, and memorable to me.

Stairway played at a friend’s funeral when I was 17.

Freebird live at Oakland Coliseum in 77 is one of my favorites videos, plus I always think of Robin Wright Penn high on cocaine….and that’s a nice thought.

Crockett and Tubbs rolling down the street in the Ferrari…with Phil blasting out In The Air Tonight. The coolest thing ever….at least it seemed like it at the time. Still pretty dam cool.
