Does anyone else listen to Dan and Stugotz? I’ve been a fan for 5-6 years but I’ve never actually met anyone else who listens regularly so I’m hoping to find some compadres

I'm normally a jackass but the OT is our safe space... so here's MHO..

I genuinely dislike the LeBatard Show, mainly Stugotz. But, it's not their fault. The blame is directed at ESPN in general. I don't feel like the LeBatard show should be considered a "sports show".

LeBatard is solid and talented, but I think he'd be more successful owning his show and not having to answer to ESPN.

It's not a sports show. But I completely understand why people enjoy it.

Stugotz is annoying and frick that guy. But that's just my opinion.

Fortunately my job allows headphones to be worn so it's not out of the ordinary to listen to ESPN radio sometime.

It's mostly podcasts though.

I use to always listen to serious sports talk and eventually just got so tired of the same debates all the time. So when i stumbled across the LeBatard show i liked it bc it was serious sports debate but talked enough to keep me informed on the main things, but also tells a lot of behind the scenes bizarre stories you typically don't get on PTI or Cowherd or whatever.

I do think Lebatard is talented, and a great interviewer. I hated Stugotz at first but after a while when you realize he's really just there to be a court jester he grows on you

Yeah i get that, as I am working during the live show. But when your round trip commute is around 3 hours a day you got a lot of time for podcasts

I used to absolutely hate the show, but over time I started getting a feel for these dudes senses of humor and they're goddamn hilarious. I listen when I can but that isn't very often because I have a job.

I started listening about 5 years ago when I was working a summer job in a body shop and I was so lost but like you said, after listening for a bit you can’t help but find them hilarious once you understand the all the people and their roles
