That said, at present all languages are in the process of merging into one single unitary super-language. When something new is invented, i.e., "e-mail," then all languages just adopt the word "e-mail" rather than invent a new word in their language to describe it.
This is what drives me crazy with Spanish. They do say "email", but it's: Correo Electronico.
It's literally the same thing for them, but what bothers me is: Why not just call it email? Is it really that difficult for your people to just use the traditional word? (They do this for "internet".)
English, as long as America is dominating the world, will continue to grow and absorb other languages (as it is already), and I love every second of it.

Being right often costs you the chance at getting laid. This is all I know.

I'd rather be happy, to be honest, and of course as I said before: The right decision was to come here and rant, not make a 2 minute conversation into a 30 minute debate where no one wins.

In a relationship with a woman...you can either be happy or right. Never both.

Is it really only women who can't admit that they're wrong, though? I know some pretty proud guys.
Although, for me, I've always found being wrong to be a much better instructor than being right.
