Wasn't referring to that. You have seen Master and Commander right?

Years ago but it didn't ring a bell from there, I do remember it from that game though IIRC.

Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi

I cant judge the movie real well, as I missed the first half of it. Music was well done though
I thought the Starship Troopers drop song was solid. Almost made up for the dude who made the movie's refusal to read the book

That song's pretty good. Big fan of the book but never saw it the full way through, it pisses me off too much.
What about some classic Hell March or some Mass Effect music: LINK

That's some good stuff. Mass Effect 3's ending made me mad enough that I forgot it. Don't remember what ending I had just that I was irritated about it.
I was fortunate enough to see the starship troopers movie years before I read the book. So I was able to enjoy the movie for the campiness aspect. I was young enough actually that I didn't notice the political commentary in it, just the killin of aliens and boobies.
Then I read the book and it made me sad that the book is not what was made.
I actually thought some of the midi stuff from System Shock was pretty good and unlike mass effect 3 the ending didn't piss me off.

I'd never heard of that game but it has an interesting wiki and pretty good music for a 90's game. Wow did the tone change around 5:30.
If you liked Starship Troopers and have some free time try out "If this goes on" also by Heinlein, it's part of the Revolt in 2100. It's my favorite story of his, it's about an America taken over by a Theocracy and the Freemasons fighting against it. Pretty entertaining. We could make a spinoff thread about SST and it's underlying themes and what Heinlein was actually trying to say with it.

System Shock was kinda a flop when it came out. Dungeon crawler controls on a space station wasn't a popular idea I guess. Great game though.
I'll have to read that, kinda sounds like Asimov's religion taking over the planets in foundation. I picked up Moon is a harsh mistress but haven't bothered reading it yet.
I'd start a starship troopers thread but, I gotta go to bed, your sister's callin again
