I will not order Uber foods

I was in Chinatown, Chicago, this July, after a White Sox game. The summer neighborhood festival was sponsored by McDonald’s, I shite you not.

I've learned to make more than a few delicious dishes myself and will continue to expand that.


- gumbo - amazing roux, I've finally got it right

- cornbread dressing

- Chinese chicken fried rice - man the secret IMO is actually refrying it, pretty simple, do the scrambled egg, peas and carrots, the right spices...I use the Uncle Ben's microwavable brown and wild rice, screw doing it the hard way

- red bean stew

- green bean casserole

- for the first time in my life, my cheese enchiladas are incredible

- white bean chicken chili - easiest thing in the world to make
