And, I'm not saying that MJ wasn't good, because I know that he was great. But you can't really say he's outright better than LeBron right now, when he's been out of the NBA and LeBron is still currently playing in it today.

Let's look at those stats on a per game basis:
MJ listed first, LBJ listed second (Playoffs, same order)
PPG: 32.3, 27.6. (34.6, 28.5)
Steals: 2.7, 1.7 (2.4, 1.7)
Blocks: 1.1, 0.85 (.82, .94)
Assists: 6.0, 6.9 (6.9, 6.7)
Rebounds: 6.2, 7.2 (6.7, 8.7)

Right now it's pretty even, but I still take MJ over LBJ at 28. We'll see how LBJ progresses.

Jordan also has an entire career under his belt. I'm sure this will be revisited many times before LeBron is done.

BTW, LeBron would PWN His Airness in street ball

You forgot that Jordan was All-Defensive first team 9x. But he can't play defense like LeBron can. He can only shoot and dunk...

Yes, I finally have some LBJ supporters in here instead of just all these MJ wack-jobs.

Jordan could not guard all five positions like Lebron can.

No.

Pippen was a better defender than LeBron. And they played one-on-one. Pippen couldn't stop Jordan.

The Pistons had one of the greatest, roughest, most physical defenses in NBA history. They developed an entire system aimed solely at stopping Jordan. They built an entire strategy around one player. The Jordan Rules. And they still couldn't stop him.

I think he's a great player, but I still take Jordan over LeBron.

But Jordan would completely shut down LeBron right?

I avoided that topic on purpose.

Who knows, Jordan played in the hand-check era. He was the master of the hidden elbow-tap. If we played by 90s rules, I think he could certainly slow LBJ down a little bit. By modern rules, probably not.
