How goes things for my neighbor to the West? And not that far to the West, I'm closer to Missouri and Oklahoma than I am most of Arkansas. Things are starting to dry up there, I hope y'all are getting a bit more rain.
Mom decided to adopt a cat today, hard to replace the Grace, who had been my cat for over 30 years (I kid you not) but it felt like time. Poor feller is currently hiding under mom's dresser but I think he'll come out soon.
His name at the pound was Bisque... thinking I'll change that to Biscuit.

The rains have missed us this week. OKC gets rain and then they fall apart before they get to me up in Northern OK. I had hay down and baled this week so I was OK with it. 
I remember when we brought our rescue dog home he was 10 months old. He was so tired he would lay down and fight trying to stay awake then would jump up because he didn't feel safe yet in his new home. After a couple days he finally settled in and decided he could trust us.
Looks like it's going to get hotter.
