It's going well but we need rain. It's extremely dry here. I planted wheat and Marshall ryegrass together for cattle to graze on in the winter and spring and it's not growing much.
Hauling a small group of cattle to OKC Monday morning. In a couple weeks I may haul more from the grass situation not looking good. Wanted to put 8 ton of fertilizer on one place 2 weeks ago but it didn't look like we would get enough rain to soak it in so I waited. Fertilizer then was $660 per ton now it's supposed to be over $900 per ton now. We cant catch any rain here.
We are in an extreme drought.
