Evening All 
Had my first cow for 2026 calve last night so here we go.

The calving pen is Sioux the panels are actually Go Bob Gates. I used heavy gates so it would be easier to clean the barn. Gates were around $230 dollars but cheaper than hiring a welder to weld up heavy panels.

After looking at those, I have changed my mind on what we going to do with a structure for the critters

Does someone have to monitor the cameras full-time, or is there some sort of way to alert you when it's actually time to check in?

We check them when we are in the house I have a 55 inch TV I can see 6 cameras on or can by iPad and iPhone when we are away.
If I get up during the night I'll check them and my parents that I'm in partnership on the cattle can also look at them during the night. Sometimes I will set to get up during the night to look. Cameras make it nice I used to drive down and check them now I just walk in my living room.
