Just once, just as a change of pace back to the old days, I'd like a fall that doesn't last just two weeks before lurching into full on winter.

Much needed rain here, Roughneck.
Temperature dropped about 25 degrees in a short period of time and the welcome rain lasted about an hour

I am thrilled to see it.

I know folks get all grumpy and butt hurt over people not liking scalding hot temperatures... but I'm Northern European AF. If the North East was not loaded with people from the North East I'd be living there.

Thats Awesome !! I got a half inch of rain Monday.
Man I bet that 25 degree drop felt Great !! Im ready to be wearing hoodies again.

The games were fun if sloppy but it has been a lousy weekend. My plantar fasciitis (that muscle that runs along the bottom of your foot) decided to blow up Friday night. It feels like I'm walking on thumbtacks. Ah well. Rest, elevation, drugs, ice. What a charmed life I lead.
