Tonight's episode should feature prominently "The Prince Who Was Promised."

Personally I believe that to be Theon Greyjoy, but we should all know who it is after tonight. Someone is going to wield a sword that shines with a light of its own. A resurrected Prince.

What??! Christ Almighty. They missed a perfect opportunity for a badass reveal.

This is just another reason these frickers are losing me with this show.

At any rate this has been my favorite fan theory for years now.

Aside from the "Jon Snow is a Targaryen" thing, because that was obvious after awhile, Theon = Azor Ahai is all but etched in stone in my mind.

I was glad to see he left to go fight in episode 1. He's gonna be hell on wheels now that he's found his non-balls again.

Whats the proof for him being azor ahai exactly? I don't think ive heard this theory before

He is a resurrected Prince literally who was reborn in salt and under smoke (there was a comet in the sky when they drowned him).

Ah ok.
My thought had always been Azorahai is more than one person. Its Jon, Dany, etc. If it is just one person Theon would be a good candidate

Well, I noticed he volunteered to go stand between the Night's King and Bran. This will be interesting the way this plays out. Apparently they may need to see both those sons of bitches dead. And that magical tree along with them.

I thought this episode was one of the better ones in a while. I like how fast they are getting into the battle.

Next week is going to be INSANE.

We don't deserve a person like Sam Tarley. Probably one of my favorite characters in the whole series.

And why couldn't the Baratheon bastard boy be Azor?

Azor forged a sword for 30 days and 30 nights to fight the darkness... dunno, just a thought.

I guess the most likely thing is that instead of it being the Prince or Princess that was promised, it could be a "mistranslation" still yet and it's meant to read Princes. Plural.

If that's the case then it's Dany, Jaime, Gendry, and Theon. Not Jon because he's the King.

ETA: and Arya. Who is my favorite character. I like Theon as Azor but he is still somewhat contemptible.

Can't wait.

Wonder who all dies this week.

All the people in the crypt. Which means Tyrion, women, children, etc.

Sansa. Bran. Brienne. Tormund.

Tyrion may not go I guess. He is a Targaryen and they haven't revealed that yet. He will see Cersei again maybe.
