And why would you want a game streaming service?
Ars Technia had a good article on sexbox cloud and the latency was nearly imperceptible.

quote:

In our video tests, the time between tapping the A button and seeing a response on the smartphone screen took 16 frames of a 240fps video (or 67 milliseconds) across three subsequent tests. That's almost imperceptibly slower than the 63ms (milliseconds) input latency Digital Foundry measured on the Xbox One version of Halo 5 in 2017 tests.

Sauce

No console peasant is going to notice that.

One reason it might be important. As games reach higher resolutions the files are just going to keep getting bigger. We're already talking upto 80 gigs for some games today. Both Sony and Microsoft have said they're going to use solid state drives and those are incredibly expensive. I'm hoping they have a traditional HDD as well just for storage but streaming starts looking attractive vs downloading and storing all that data locally unless you want to delete and replace your library as needed.

Just my random thought. Plus being able to access your library anywhere from any device instantly is sexy as hell. That said Google and Stadia are smoking crack if they think people should pay $120 a year just to access HD streams of shite they bought.

Games from E3 I am most looking forward too.

1) Cyberpunk (obviously)
2) Halo
3) Borderlands 3
4) SW Jedi - Fallen Order (actually looks like a ton of fun)
5) The Outer Worlds

I don't mind not using the movie actors, but that just looked like shite. I would have guessed that game was already 5+ years old.

Agreed it just looks kinda generic. Like they went to garys mod custom skins section and said "That models good enough"
